Church Center - what’s the big deal anyway?

Whether you’re using it on the web or through the app, Church Center is the new hub for all things Reveal:

  • Give your tithe and donate to other funds (Mission 414, Missions, etc.)

  • Sign-up for events and classes

  • Join a small group and keep in touch with group messages

  • Check-in your kids for R-kids

  • Update your personal and household information

  • Tap your profile to view your giving records, groups, registered events, volunteer schedule and more

 We are excited to be using Planning Center as our new database management system. What does that mean for you? It means better, more efficient communication through our new information hub, Church Center.

Whether it’s giving, registering for a class, volunteering at a service, or checking in your kids, each interaction you have with us is going to be easier and smoother!

After updating your information, keep scrolling to see what’s new regarding giving, the new Church Center app, volunteer scheduling, leading a group, checking in your kids for church, and more!

 Here’s what you need to know about Giving.

  • Your recurring giving and payment information will need to be updated in our new system. This will happen when you tithe for the first time. (Don’t forget to cancel recurring giving in the old system!)

  • For checks: Tax deductible and non-tax deductible payments must be received as separate checks (i.e., your tithe and payment for a class cannot be on one check as a lump sum).

  • You can give online and through the Church Center app!

  • We also have a Text-to-Give option: simply text a dollar amount to “84321” and you will receive a link to setup your account.

Other features in Church Center:

 Check-in

Parents, wouldn’t it be great to have TSA pre-check, but for church? With Church Center you can do just that! While you’re on your way to church, whether it’s for a Sunday service or for a special event, you can click the Check-In button on the bottom of the app to register your kids before arrival. When you get to church, simply scan the QR code from the app and your name tags will automatically print!

Signups

Sign-ups for adults, youth, and kids events are now all in one place! Simply click the “Signups” tab in the top of your browser (for web) or the icon at the bottom (for app) and you’ll see everything conveniently listed! Use the search bar at the top to search by category.

Groups

Looking for a group to connect with or a class to take? Search for open groups using the “Groups” tab in Church Center. You can filter by age group, location, day of the week, and more! Sign-up for groups/classes, view new messages, see other group members, and stay informed about group events!

Curious when you’re scheduled to volunteer?

 

Tap your profile icon in the top right of Church Center to view your information.

Then click “My Services” to see what team, service, or event you’re scheduled for! You can also add “Blockout Dates” to let your team leaders know when you’re out of town or unavailable to serve.

In addition to the Church Center app, you’ll want to download the free, Planning Center Services app. This will give you greater access to service plan details. Contact your team leader if you have any questions about the Services app and how to use it!
