Breaking the Circle of Sin

VIDEO CLIP From The Chosen Jesus Healing at the Pool of Bethesda

In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had.

Deuteronomy 1:22-26 NKJV

And every one of you came near to me and said, ‘Let us send men before us, and let them search out the land for us, and bring back word to us of the way by which we should go up, and of the cities into which we shall come.’ “The plan pleased me well; so I took twelve of your men, one man from each tribe. And they departed and went up into the mountains, and came to the Valley of Eshcol, and spied it out. They also took some of the fruit of the land in their hands and brought it down to us; and they brought back word to us, saying, ‘It is a good land which the Lord our God is giving us.’ “Nevertheless you would not go up, but rebelled against the command of the Lord your God;”

Numbers 13:25 NKJV

“And they returned from spying out the land after forty days.”

Numbers 13:27-28, 32-33 NKJV

“Then they told him, and said: “We went to the land where you sent us. It truly flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit. Nevertheless the people who dwell in the land are strong; the cities are fortified and very large; moreover we saw the descendants of Anak there. And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature. There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.”

Isaiah 40:22 NKJV

“It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.”

I am a citizen of the kingdom of God. This world is not my home, I am just passing through. I declare out loud that I am forgiven and set me free from slavery to sin. The Son of God has delivered me and will continue to deliver me from every evil attack.

I have been given the Holy Spirit and the ability to listen to His voice lead me through every step of this life. He will never leave me. I am never alone.

As I daily carry my cross, the healing power of God sets me free from unbelief, fear and bitterness. I have received the promised fruit and gifts of the Holy Spirit as an inheritance as a child of God. Christ in me is my identity and authority to pray and believe for all the promises of God, to the glory of God.

By the grace of God alone I am fully protected, provided for and satisfied in this abundant life that I now claim by faith in my Savior, Jesus Christ.

AMEN

John 6:28-29 NKJV

Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?” Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”
