Romans 7:19-25 NKJV

I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man. II Timothy 2:20-26 NKJV

Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work. “But you were washed [by the atoning sacrifice of Christ], you were sanctified [set apart for God, and made holy], you were justified [declared free of guilt] in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the [Holy] Spirit of our God [the source of the believer’s new life and changed behavior].”

1. WASHED: a new mind, removal of sin. Cleansing of conscience

2. SANCTIFIED: a new nature. Set a part, declared holy

3. JUSTIFIED: a new righteousness. Full pardon with a new name.
