REVELATION: THE LAMB OF GOD

 SCENE 12

TRANSCRIPTION

JOHN: I am John, a servant of Jesus. I was exiled to an island called Patmos because of the truth of Jesus when I heard a voice like a trumpet blast say, “Come up here...” At once, I was in the Spirit, and behold, there was a throne in heaven and there was one seated on the throne. From His throne came lightning and rumblings of thunder. Twenty four elders surrounded the throne and four living creatures stood on each side. Without ceasing, they worshipped.  Then I saw, in the right hand of the one on the throne, a scroll sealed with seven seals. A mighty angel roared,

ANGEL: “Who is worthy to open the scroll, to break its seals?”

JOHN: There was no one. I began to weep because there was none found worthy. One of the elders said:

ELDER: “Stop weeping. Look! The Lion of Judah, the root of David, has conquered so that he can open the scroll.”

JOHN: I looked and between the living creatures and the throne there was a lamb that looked like it had been slaughtered, but it was standing. It was alive. It had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven-fold spirit of God. The lamb took the scroll from the right hand of the one on the throne. And a new song rang out:

CHOIR: “Worthy are you to take the scroll and open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe, from every tongue from every nation and you have made them a kingdom of priests to our God”

JOHN: Then I heard all of heaven and all of the earth saying:

LARGER CHOIR: “To him who sits on the throne and unto the lamb be blessing and honor and glory and power forever!”

POSSIBLE APPLICATION QUESTION?

On that day, the entire heavens and earth will declare that Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords. But who is He to you? Who do you say that He is?
